Free Your Inner Child: Day 8
8. Life is like dancing.. people will dance. Some will get angry when the rhythm changes. But life is changing all the time. -Miguel Angel Ruiz

I remember when I was a child, whenever there was a party with music blasting, my sisters, cousins and I could be found dancing like there was no tomorrow! We didn't care how we looked (and I saw later because it was captured on film) we just shook our limbs, our heads, our selves with such energy and expression to the rhythm that called to us. Kids are like that. Have you ever watched a 2, 3 or 4 year-old dance? They just let loose in any way the music pulls them, it doesn't have to be to the beat.

So today you are invited to put on some music and shake your sillies out so that you have more silliness during the day! You are invited to move your body like you just don't care, following your own rhythm, whether that be fast and silly or slow and exaggerated. Anything goes. Allow your dance to take you deeper into your body and its instincts, connecting with your
intuition. Young children move in ways that please them, not others.

Here we are on the last day of the Free Your Inner Child eCourse. I hope that you have been able to get at least a glimpse of the potential of your inner child to lead you to a more playful you.

I will leave you with one last quote to ponder on your journey:

Dancing with the feet is one thing, but dancing with the heart is another.”
