Most stories have characters in them. Guess what? They seem so much more real if you know everything about them! Character questionnaires answer all the questions you have about your creation. Here is what a VERY detailed character questionnaire looks like:

Name:
Age:
Hair Color:
Eye Color:
Favorite Book:
Favorite Movie:
Where they live:
Medical Issues:
Noticeable:
Favorite Color:
Part in the Story:
Relation to Main Character:
Relation to Villain:
Family:
Social Status:
Phone Number:
Pets:

If you want to add or subtract questions, so you get what you need to know, that's great! Once you work out a good system or good questions, you should do them for all your characters you want to know about. Complete the questionnaires in your Writers Journal.

You don't need to do this if you don't think it will help you, and don't do it for characters that don't appear in the story often. Unless you want to.

Exercise:

Complete a few Character Questionnaires in your Writers Journal.

I am 14-years-old. I find inspiration all over the place: memories, ideas, things I notice. I like believing in things that others find impossible. I think that's the way I hope for a better future. ..
