About MeDimitris Eleas, (born Athens 1973-based Brighton) is a writer, [independent researcher] and [political activist]. Lives, and (then) writes. He worked in the catering industry for years; he owned businesses and properties, while writing was a backstage activity. Towards the end of 2009, he gave up the ‘day to day job’ to focus on his writing full time.
Over the years, he attended lectures by prestigious world figures such as: Noam Chomsky, Nelson Mandela, Jacques Derrida, Yurgen Habermas, Cornelius Castoriadis, Kostas Axelos and Anthony Giddens. His first book was published in Athens, (debut as a 21 years old) Women (1994), in London the Ten Texts (2007). He has also published, ‘here and then’, texts in literary magazines and articles in newspapers and websites. |
