About Me

I don�t think I need to say too much here. If you�ve read my work then you probably have a pretty good idea of what I�m like. I tend to dump a lot of myself into the writing. Some things you may not know:
I am a father
I am a licensed natural gas technician
I've never taken any writing or English courses.


Favourite authors : Brian Hodge, Tom Piccirilli, Edward Lee, Carlton Mellick III, Poppy Z. Brite,
Jack Ketchum, Ramsey Campbell, Ray Bradbury, Kurt Vonnegut and tons more.

I have no English or writing education, I barely got through high school before having my son and enrolling in trade school. I never stopped reading and never stopped writing. My grammar and spelling still hold me up to this day but I keep writing. That�s my whole point, it�s not about schooling or publication or even sharing your work with others. It�s about writing for yourself because if you�re anything like me, there isn�t really any other option.

Since all of our writing got erased, I decided to revise everything I had originally posted. I believe that even my best work can be trimmed and improved if I walk away from it for awhile. There may not be drastic changes but I tried to trim the fat and make the work flow better. So if you're really bored you can go back and read my older stuff to see what's changed.

Hey Dave, how is the new publication coming along? I haven't tossed anything up here in a long while but I will be doing a story for this place soon enough as an exclusive. I am playing around with doing a ghost story set in Chinatown, I was wondering if you get any Chicago based newschanels there. Well I get some of my ideas from the headlines every now and then. this is the story that was meant for me to write in some odd way. The idea for it being there and want to toss it up for WritersCafe.org, but want to do some pictures around Chinatown first to get an idea for where this happened.
     Other than that, I've been hammering away on some new short fiction for my own magazine. This is for the local author issue I wrote a new story for. I had one site that smeared me for so long in the crosshairs as the subject of a charafcter who gets theirs in the end. There was a lot of inspiration and do something vicious to them. Picture a ghost pulling the character under ice.

I got a hellish one coming called Media Darling it is a payback story on some of the libeling b******s I had to put up with over the years. It will be an exclusive for my magazine. This thing is vicious -- everything from upturned cars, riots, and angry mobs. First time I wrote an angry mob story.

I have one of the most helish stories in the works here and believe me it also provides some dark social commentary from the right leaning angle of the Stars and Stripes. I got a story out there right now if you like UFO type science fiction it isn't available for free, but if you want to get your work published there they will pay you too.

Thanx for the review -- you don't see people try to merge Dracula with the Cthulhu Mythos because it doesn't always seem effective or work in ways. I was trying to something different with Eyes Of The Skull, and I also did something new for me when I wrote The Statue.

The Bradbury influence on a writer is one of those that you can't ignore when you write horror and science fiction. I know of the others just don't care for Brite -- long story and there is a hostile history between myself and her. I own The Bizarro Starter Kit Orange. A book I like but don't read in one sitting because I will get too weirded out. I wrote a bizarro story that is entirely clean and that appeared on Darkened Horizons; Issue 3. You should try to send something to Jordan.
