Hello Cafe' Friends!

I, in the most humble way, consider myself to be a seemingly perpetual work in progress -re-creating me all the time. Most of the time I'm good with that --and the times that I'm not --I always enjoy writing as a "balance or focus." No, I don't just write in challenging times --I write when "I" am wise and MAKE the time.

My full time previous work life was steeped in bureaucracy in the area of mid-management for hospitals --lived all around the U.S. with that. Now I am in an unemployed mode, er ah part-time retired with a disturbing sense of no urgency about that --and fighting the "should be" this or that about my status.

I am a Mother of a beautiful, amazing daughter/mother --who by profession is a professional flutist. She and my son in law (a talented graphic artist) produced two amazing boys --8 and 10 --handsome, intelligent with forms of Autism. They reside in Florida.

I enjoy music (most all genres), traveling, collectibles (a few years ago owned a small antique auction), exploring what makes my friends and acquaintances "tick" --in a good way --and in a 'drive 'em nuts' way; watching sports (my deceased dad in his early life was a coach of all sports --high school/college; I LOVE sea turtles (was a "turtle watcher for a "season" on an island on theh Gulf side of Florida; ah yes "a romantic" to add to the "jambalaya" of me. ( From a young age I lived in New Orleans, La. and feel I embraced then adopted the culture in me!)

Perhaps soon -or someday I do aspire to get something published. If not I'll still write --and write --and write

P.S. I have completed an 85,000 word manuscript...semi-autobiographical with some embellishment
