Story Update:

Scottie (The Murder Mystery Author) leaves her sixteen year old Laura to babysit her other kids so she can attend the convention; she leaves without underpants and runs into the skankily dressed mistress at the convention and they get into a fist/slap fight, she wasn't asked to leave because another brawl developed with the trouble making mistress and a different woman and it kept security preoccupied and Scottie free to go; Scottie meets Alexis and they sit together during the speakers presentation; Alexis defends Scottie and Scottie becomes confrontational about it; Scottie notices Alexis is nervous; Scottie and Alexis meet the bestselling thriller author Damon Ross Cottrell - booktitle: "Bloodmoon on a River"; Scottie becomes confrontational with him but ends up getting a signed copy of his book.

Alexis (The Indie Author) dresses in his preppy attire and brings with him his networking stuff (portfolio and ramblings). He introduces himself to Scottie who was on the floor after a brawl with the other woman. Alexis is seated for the presentation next to Scottie and she looks over at him repeatedly noticing something about him - as if she did something wrong; Alexis see's his unusal neighbor who lives at the suspicious house at the convention and is mesmerized; Alexis is confronted by Scottie when he decides to leave the presentation for a cigarette and ice coffee; Alexis calms her down and Damon Cottrell enters the room and Alexis recounts that earlier he bumped into him with his laptop and cords; Scottie was distracted by Damon while she was talking to Alexis and is confrontational with him too; Alexis and Scottie go for some ice coffee together and are in line behind Damon; Alexis was able to get a signed copy of Bloodmoon from Damon;

Damon Ross Cottrell (The Darkside Bestseller) arrives at the convention dressed in the stereotypical bestselling author attire with a laptop in hand and an iguana on his shoulder; he bumps into Alexis and intertwined into his portfolio from the cords on his laptop; he witnesses the brawls; he sets up his book signing table and feels depressed; some odd details emphasize his condition; he walks away from his table for a moment and leaves his lizard there; he runs into Alexis and Scottie in the elevator hallway and is confronted by Scottie who later became ecstatic by his celebrity; he falls in line for ice coffee and Scottie and Alexis are in line behind him somehow; Damon likes strong coffee; he has to sit in on panel: "Using Free Association Brainstorming To break the block" and is part of the presentation at the convention; He goes back to his table and his iguana Louey is still there; he signs two copies of his book Bloodmoon for Alexis and Scottie; apparently Damon has a gun in his sports coat that he fiddles with through some thoughts of depression.

Thanks for the clarification. Your updates are really helpful. Might I suggest you keep labeling them as "updates" and save "group message" for other things?
