All About the Kids Forum Little ole me!

My name is Jamie and I am a 34 year old mother of 3, 4 counting my husband. I work part time as a CNA doing private duty work and I squeeze in writing when I can.   I recently recieved my diploma from the Institute Of Children's Liturature and loved it! My instructor (Janet Graber) was wonderful and I encourage anyone to read her books to thier children.   I wasnt raised in a very supportive house so my writing interest started as a teenager but I didnt persue them until a few years ago.  I seem to have a soft spot for the Jr. high age kids but dabble in writing for all ages.   Because writing can be a lonely profession I look forward to bouncing ideas off of each other here at the cafe.  I especially enjoy working with my fellow childrens writers to nurture the imaginations of our younger readers and listeners :)
