Blood At The Midnight Hour Forum Vampire Novels and Authors

My favourite vampire novelist is probably Bram Stoker, actually. I'm also pretty keen on "Salem's Lot", by Stephen King. One of the best of his earlier novels, perhaps?

I read alot of Anne Rice's early books and most of her Interview With The Vampire Series. Before she got all crazy and stuff. Stephen King's Jerusalem's Lot short story in I think Night Shift is perhaps the scariest vampire story I've ever read. Also his take on vampires in The Little Sisters Of Eluria is quite freaky. Salem's Lot is great, too.

Anne Rice is definitely a favorite. I liked the movie Salem's Lot but have never read the book.
