Like pretty much anyone who comes here, I like sex. And I write about it somewhat frequently. I never gave much thought to how or why, I just kind of did it. Writing erotica was actually something I started doing as a means to get around writer's block... it was just some brainless fun I could put my mind to rather than obsess over the important stuff. Now, it's definitely a part of the important stuff. And still very much fun, just not brainless lol

I like to think I've progressed with the genre because when I started out, I wrote some God awful cookie cutter porn that wasn't much of a turn on to anyone, except maybe a couple of 13 year olds who didn't know any better. I self-published a book last year in the genre that I'm really quite proud of, and I think erotic writing will always be part of what I do.

I'm Ken, a well and truly bent ex matelot. Began by writing poetry whilst a sailor. Found a naughty mag with a gay erotic story inside, read it and decided I could do that. Sent my first story off to the mag and they published. Wrote about one a month for them after that.

Sent my naughty wares to the US and they too liked what I wrote. They asked me for a novella. I wrote three, which then became my Brad novel. I then set about writing my first novel Virgin Sailors. It was taken on by Prowler. They asked for another and I wrote a further five for them.

Have no publisher now so my new novel Spunky Sailor is self-published with Lulu. I've also put my out of print novels up with them.

Will writer's droop come soon? I hope not.
