Lyrical Lounge Forum SHOULD PEOPLE BE DELETED????

I'm going to be straight forward....I may piss some of you off....but sometimes in life...people piss you off....and lately I've had so many people piss me off....

See.....my mama always told me that if I receive I should give....kind of like pay it back.....

My way of paying back what I've been receiving lately, is pissing people off.

To those of you that just like to come and read, let me know who you are. I do not want to erase any of you that at least come to the group. I love the support and admire the fact that people would at least pay attention. Mad love to you guys, this is NOT directed at you.

New guy. No. It makes sense. You want to see some participation. When I first got to the cafe my attitude was I want some reviews and not just readers. I have to know if what I'm writing is good or not. I got rid of folks that just wanted to sell me something or read what they had and not return the favor or just collect avitars. I don't care if you have a store here just read my stuff and let me know what you think. That's all I ask. I don't know how it is to run a group but I would think some participation would be welcome. I wouldn't expect everyone to do the same thing but as long as they say something. Self included.
Time limits? I don't know. It's hard to know what someone is doing on the other end. But that's my two cents.

yeah i got u...basically u want people to come out of their shells and communicate even if its not in battle form or whatever...Just write something so that u know they are alive and watching things since there is no kind of way to know who is reading what. You want it to be tighter and everybody more familiar with each other...Its nothing wrong with that...But Its more of a natural process i think...Than it is something u can force to happen by deleted fat off the edges...Maybe one day after reading enough...some of your fat starts to nurish u

Yeah,exactly. The last group (real life) I was in did that but it was uncomfortable to a degree. Forced like you said. It was okay for getting outside the shell type of thing but when it came to that cohesiveness it wasn't really there. It'll take me some time to visit some of the group and read what they have just to get a feel for what's out there.

I want to make this a place for every body. Those of you that are here reading, and not speaking....tell me what I can do to help you feel more comfortable....

I will be starting a "Philosophical Lounge" in the forum for those of you that don't do hip hop, but just want to freestyle some things off the chest in a poetical way. I would like a forum like that for myself as well. So, I will be starting that up soon.

If you have any ideas on something that you like.....just speak up and let me know.

I want us all to know each other. I want us to have fun and be care-free. Make this OUR place to just be who we are.....give 100%.

Take me for example:

You hardly every see me post hip hop pieces any more. I only do that in here. Why? Because a lot of poets don't understand that side of us. They don't see it in the form of art that we do. They think it is ghetto and.....who knows what else they think....but it is art.

The way I've solved this problem.....making a place like this for every body to get away to and just be.....

SO....

there it is....I am ready for a foundation.....not just construct with Lincoln Logs.....

Okay this is how I see it...

When I noticed that the I Love Haikus! group had stranglers I sen out a group PM about the non participation and the warning if they were not active and did not contact me to save their place, they were out. I deleted over 20 folks that DID not reply or do the challenge. I deleted two groups for non participation from anyone.
I don't ask you do the work ALL the time but interact with the others. So I say this is more then fair you are giving more then enough time to trun this group into the family you wish it to be. BTW, I'm Catrina and nice to meet you all that I don't know already. Look forwarding to reading your work and chit chating with you.

I think we just forgot about that forum. LOL! We should activate it again.....talk about whatever. I think that forum ended dead in conversation.

I think if we all get an understanding of each other we can help each other more. I see it like this.....we know each others style....we don't look down on any other person in here.....we need to help build each other.....

I just think we should take advantage of all of us in one spot......

Well if we blend hip hop with anything we could still have fun. What about tapping into each person's genre and adding hip hop to it. I write mostly poetry, haikus, tankas, and cinquains. I would gladly add hip hop to any of these to show I'm proud to be in this group.
