Favorite lyric I wish I had said.17 Years AgoI was listening to an old Prince cd. One where he had changed his name to a symbol. The song is called The Morning Papers. I like it. The words or lyric go
"If he poured his heart into a glass and offered it like wine she could drink and be back in time for the morning papers." Wish I had said that. That sticks with me and I just likt the build up to it. Or Jimi Hendrix doing Purple Haze. The one I think everybody knows is "Scuse me while I kiss the sky" Okay it might just be me. But you have heard some cool songs that had that one line that if you heard it now would probably take you back to the time you heard. Something special something not so special. Doesn't matter. So,,,,,what line do you wish you had said? |

[no subject]17 Years AgoBecause I'm answering my own thread,,,,,,,,,is this considered mental masterbation?
Any way I found another one. "I work hard every day of my life. I work til I ache my bones. At the end of the day I take home my hollow pay all on my own. I go down on my knees and pray alone. Til tears run down from my eyes. Can anybody find me somebody to love?Somebody to Love by Queen Give it a listen so you can get the feeling. Or don't. Hey ,,,,,do wha'cha do. |

[no subject]17 Years Ago"I'm looking at you through the glass,
don't know how much time has passed Oh God it feels like forever, but no one ever tells you that Forever feels like home, sitting all alone inside your head... Cause I'm looking at you through the glass, don't know how much time has passed All I know is that it feels like forever, but no one ever tells you that Forever feels like home, sitting all alone inside your head... How do you feel? That is the question... But I forget you don't expect an easy answer When something like a soul becomes initialized and folded up like Paper dolls and little notes, you can't expect a bit of hope And while you're outside looking in, describing what you see Remember what you're staring at is me Cause I'm looking at you through the glass, don't know how much time has passed All I know is that it feels like forever, but no one ever tells you that Forever feels like home, sitting all alone inside your head... How much is real? So much to question An epidemic of the mannequins contaminating everything We thought came from the heart - but never did right from the start Just listen to the noises - null and void instead of voices Before you tell yourself It's just a different scene Remembering is just different from what you've seen Cause I'm looking at you through the glass, don't know how much time has passed All I know is that it feels like forever, but no one ever tells you that Forever feels like home, sitting all alone inside your head... Cause I'm looking at you through the glass, don't know how much time has passed All I know is that it feels like forever, but no one ever tells you that Forever feels like home, sitting all alone inside your head... And it's the stars, the stars that shine for you And it's the stars, the stars that lie to you And it's the stars, the stars that shine for you And it's the stars, the stars that lie to you I'm looking at you through the glass, don't know how much time has passed Oh God it feels like forever, but no one ever tells you that Forever feels like home, sitting all alone inside your head... Cause I'm looking at you through the glass, don't know how much time has passed All I know is that it feels like forever, but no one ever tells you that Forever feels like home, sitting all alone inside your head... And it's the stars, the stars that shine for you And it's the stars, the stars that lie to you And it's the stars, the stars that shine for you And it's the stars, the stars that lie to you It's the stars, it's the stars, that lied" -Through Glass by Stone Sour Best song ever. Completely describes everything. |
