Phantastic Phantasy Forum How to end your story

I came across this interesting article. 



Item 1 seems pretty catchy, but if everyone always used it it'd become a trope/cliche.  Items 2 and 3 are a little broad, but seem vague enough to be generally applicable. 

I'm nearly done the first draft of my first novel, so this came along at just the right time.  Just thought I'd pass it along.
