Full Moon 1.1
Re: Full Moon 1.114 Years AgoZenith held his hands in front of him, and concentrated. Moonlight began shining in front of him, forming a pillar of light. It got brighter and brighter, growing in strength and clarity. “By the power of the moon I call forth the light between worlds. Through the darkness shines a light, and through this light our worlds are bound . . . take my body; search my soul. Lift me into the heavens, and let me tread the paths through the darkness. For in the moonlight, we all are bound.” Zenith’s tails unfurled, radiating in a circle as he spoke. The light grew stronger; more tangible, more solid. Taking a deep breath, Zenith stepped into the light. He felt his body fade from the realm of the physical, pulled through the darkness and into the paths between worlds.

Re: Full Moon 1.114 Years Ago(Evil babys!)
I lay in on the stone floor of the cave,Ezras sleeping form pressed against me. he held me gently and i felt myself began to drift into sleep also. though there was something nawing at the back of my mind. some sort of force that was being invoked somehwere. pherhaps it was the intruder from eariler? i tryed my best to shake the thoat from my mind. soon we would move the clan and all would be well. i let myself snuggle into Ezras bare chest, enjoying is warmth. i just wished teh bad feeling i had would go away. it was as if someone else in the world was invoking magic and a powerfl one at that.

Re: Full Moon 1.114 Years Agoi sat and watched as my people danced and sang and enjoyed life as if nothing were happening. the log on which i was sitting on was starting to give me a cramp. i wore one of the traditional gowns of my people's royals or head of clan. i could just stand up and, not being bound or gagged, tell them all that was wrong with our clan. but their smiling faces and lively spirits stopped me. it was like a dagger to my heart to think that i would be taking my people's happiness. it was taught to me as a child to always put my people's happiness and well being before myself or anything else. sighing in resignation i look into the fire in the middle of all the celebration.
what are they celebrating you ask, ,my return and my engagement to some stranger i didnt know. leaning forward, i clasped my together and sent a silent prayer to our goddess Eliza. help my people "what has you so deep in thought?" his voice startled me at first and i instantly froze. looking to my left, i saw it was Liam who sat next to me. "what do you want?" i could have just ignored hi and maybe he would go away. |

Re: Full Moon 1.114 Years AgoLos Angeles was a busy city in the day; and a not so busy one at night. This night was unusually quiet, despite the fact it was a Monday night. The traffic was low, the cars were infrequent, and the only signs of life on many streets were the lights. The moonlight faded behind him as Zenith stepped into the realm known as Earth. He smiled, eyeing the area. The thickly forested park was on the outskirts of LA, and right across from the place he needed to be. Perfect, Zenith thought as he crept up to the edge of the road, eyeing the small row of buildings on the other side. On the left was a drug store, separated from the rest by an alley. On the right was a run-down apartment building; only three of the eight available apartments lit up. And there, in the middle, was a small, two-story music store with a pink neon sign that said South Side Mixes. Even better: they were open for business.
Zenith focused on his body, feeling it shift and change. His fur receded, and the hues of his skin became more balanced. His face changed shape, becoming more withdrawn and human. His muscles weakened, his speed lessened, and his senses lowered. Worst of all, he no longer felt the close touch of nature he was born with; the sense of being in tune with the world around him. Zenith sighed, thinking to himself. His human face was Caucasian, his body that of a seventeen year old boy. On top of all the standard human body parts Zenith had his tails, all seven of them now hidden in his pants; and his fox ears, which were not so easily hidden. He shook his shoulder-length hair around, laying his ears back against his skull so they’d be covered. Now all he had to do was keep them like that.
Zenith strolled across the street, waiting until after a stray car had passed. Walking up to the store he could see racks and racks of CD’s inside, with a few random people looking at what to buy. Zenith stepped quietly inside, the opening of the door ringing a bell. He shot a glance at the clerk; a nineteen year old teen in a white T and some jeans. Over his head was a circular piece of cloth; what Zenith knew to be some kind of hat, covering his brown hair. Around his neck was a large pair of headphones; attached to the MP3 player on his waist. He finished a transaction with a customer, looking up to examine Zenith with blue eyes. The two exchanged a knowing nod. “O’kay, peoples; listen up!” The kid sang. “It’s closin’ time here at South Side Mixes; get whatcha need and let’s go!” The three remaining costumers in the store sighed, putting whatever they were looking at down and heading for the door. One gentleman shot a distasteful glance at Zenith; he obviously didn’t approve of his no-shirt policy. Zenith just stepped aside, turning his attention to the store blinds and closing them.
“Yo Zenith, my man!” The boy said as he walked up. “DJ,” Zenith replied with a smile. “Good to see you-” He was interrupted by a hug from the teen. “How’s it been?” Zenith shuddered; hugs from DJ always gave him the willies. “It’s been good,” he replied with a nod. “How have you been yourself?” DJ just shrugged. “It’s been tight, y’know?” He replied with a smile. DJ walked over to the store counter. “Can I getcha anything?” Zenith thought for a moment. “A Coke would be good,” he reasoned. DJ opened a fridge behind the counter and threw one at Zenith. He caught it out of the air with a smile. “DJ!” A grizzled voice called. “You better not be having another party in my store!” DJ smiled. “No; I’m not,” he replied. “Get down here, you won’t believe who just walked in!” Zenith turned his attention to the stairs. Down walked a grizzled man: grey t-shirt, jeans, slightly creased face with grey-white hair. He shot a look at Zenith; examining him with hazel-brown eyes. “Well I’ll be damned,” he replied. “It’s been a while, Zachary.” Zenith rolled his eyes at the name. “Good to see you to, Dad.”

Re: Full Moon 1.114 Years Agoonce i was awake i studied my surroundings carefully. It was noon! i had slept until noon! i pried Ezras arms off of me and got dressed in a hurry. i heard him groan softly as he sat up. "why in such a hurry love?" i turned to face him, trying not to linger to long on his bare body. "i need to get back to the clan. today we move." i ran outside ans saw that they were all in a good mood. i smiled happy that they hadnt gotten out of hand during the night. i scanned the place letting my gaze fall on carla and liam. the two were chatting amongst themselves. i guess i just had to hope that he wasnt saying nice words.

Re: Full Moon 1.114 Years Agothe clan continued to dance and sing. Liam had been talking to me of all the things he had seen in his travels away from the clan. how we got to this topic, i didnt know but it had my spirits up.
"the ocean is a marvelous and endless. the blue is as deep and mesmerizing as anything i have ever seen" his gaze was distant and dreamy. i have never been very far from the confines of the village and the clan, so i had never seen the ocean. the blue that he described seemed to reflect his eyes, a mesmerizing, absorbing, deep blue. "just like your eyes" i said it before i realized i had done so. my cheeks flushed crimson as i looked away from him. i had known him since childhood and had feelings for him, apparently they were still at their peak. he placed two fingers under my chin and tilted my head back to lock his eyes on mine. there in the depths of those eyes i saw an emotion flare to life and it made my breath catch. could he feel something for me? did i dare to hope? "Liam" once i heard her voice i was brought back to reality. i looked away devastated but hid that from alice. i couldn't hope that Liam felt anything for me he had, after all, betrayed me and became her right hand. |

Re: Full Moon 1.114 Years AgoZenith shook his head. Where am I again? He scanned the room, thinking. Zenith couldn’t help but smile. Good old Dad; he never messes with anything. The room was a normal, white room. Posters of Kanji symbols were dotted along the wall, along with a beloved poster of Jackie Chan. Zenith sighed, getting out of bed. He stretched himself out; his tails opening like a massive fan. He yawned; remembering he was still in his human form, and furled his tails back into his pants. He flattened his ears across his head, shook it to let the hair fall over it, and let out a deep breath. It was habit more than anything.
Zenith stepped into the dining room to see his grizzled father making eggs in the kitchen. DJ sat at the table, drinking some orange juice. He smiled upon seeing Zenith. “Hey man!” He exclaimed. “How ya been?” Zenith rubbed his head. “How long was I out?” He asked. “Ten hours,” Dad filled in. “And you don’t need to hide who you are in my house.” He flipped one of the eggs; not even glancing in Zenith’s direction. Zenith sighed. He focused on himself, letting his body shift and change. It was over in a few seconds; Zenith was his old, natural fox-self again. “That never gets old,” DJ remarked with a smile. Zenith just rolled his eyes. “Mr. Johnson-” “Elijah,” Mr. Johnson corrected. “Right,” DJ replied. “Any rate; you still need me to pick up those packages today?” Elijah thought for a moment. “Yeah,” he replied. “Zach can go with you.” Zenith rolled his eyes at the use of his real name. “Looks like I better get dressed,” he stated.

Re: Full Moon 1.114 Years AgoI smiled grimly at the pair,a now fully dressed Ezra close behind. "i think you both need to stop talking and get to work. were moving the clan today." i hissed low and long, letting my gaze to became harsh and deadly. i didnt bother waiting for a response. i turned briskly,my long black hair whipping Ezra in the face. His face turned red and he brushed him self off and fell into stride beside me. "so what are you going to do about liam?" i shook my head, not meeting his gaze "nothing. hes on our side." Ezra snorted with a slight roll of his eyes. "sometimes i feel you put put more faith in that man then you do me." he gave a slight smirk, running his hand through his snow white hair. "you know compared to me hes just a boy. if you want a real man than you can just find yourself in my bed." he gave a slight pause. "oh wait...you already have." i growled at him, giving him a scowl that would scare anyone but him. he just gave a smile laugh and countniued on ahead.

Re: Full Moon 1.114 Years Agomoving the clan? why would she do that? my mind was so busy contemplating ideas and possibilities i didn't see Liam crouch in front of me after Alice was out of site.
"you going to be ok?" i narrowed my eyes at him and stood abruptly. "it shouldn't matter to you" i bowed dramatically "you are after all in the priestess' good graces." with that i turned to leave and prepare for the journey. but he took hold of my forearm, turned me around and pulled me into the circle of his arms. "i did it to protect you" snorting i tried to pull out of his arms which were slowly breaking my resolve. "let me go. you betrayed me for her. after all that has happened and we have been through." he shook his head at me as if all of which i said he was just now discovering. "please try to understand. there was no other way" growling furiously at him, i stare him down willing the tears not to come. he was my weakness, in his arms i found peace and safety, his eyes were the doors to my desire. i closed my eyes and turned my head away from him. "let me go i cant do this right now" i couldn't help the saddened tone of my voice. but it seemed to get through to him for he released me. i turned and began to walk away then needing for him to know i turn and look at him as a stray tear falls down my cheek "there is always another way and always a reason to fight. i thought you would remember that." i used the same line he did on me on day as a child i wanted to die. he was the lost one now. |

Re: Full Moon 1.114 Years Ago DJ’s Porsche was another familiar sight; it made Zenith smile. “Still have that thing?” He remarked, scratching the back of his head. He had resumed his human form for the trip into LA. “Yep,” DJ said with a smile. Zenith just shook his head; his mind went back to the fateful evening; where he and DJ first met . . . “Let’s go, fox-boy!” DJ stated. Zenith sighed; he walked around to the other side of the Porsche and slipped in. DJ sped off as soon as he shut the door. “So what are we picking up?” Zenith asked. “Collector’s CDs,” DJ replied. “Michael Jackson stuff; a few oldies; and a pearl-trimmed guitar Elijah picked up off of Ebay.” Zenith nodded at that. “Man,” he stated. “How time flies.” DJ nodded. “No kidding,” he added. “Goes by too quickly; y’know?” Zenith smiled. “Yeah; I can still feel your bumper mashing into my stomache-” “Hey! That was my dad, not me, K? And we got you fixed up; saved your life, remember? Besides; you were how old then? Thirty? You shoulda known better than to step in front of a speeding Porsche.” Zenith rolled his eyes. “It was my first time shifting worlds without the help of my mother; I was disoriented.” He and DJ exchanged laughs at that. “One of these days you gotta take me with you,” DJ replied. “I don’t wanna be stuck at the music store for the rest of my life. I wanna live, man. I don’t wanna . . .” Zenith sighed. “It’s been two years, hasn’t it?” He asked. “Two years to the day.” DJ nodded. “I miss him,” he stated softly. Zenith nodded. “So do I . . .”

Re: Full Moon 1.114 Years Agoi searched my mind frantically for ideas of where to move the clan. it had to be somewhere safe, somwhere secret. i tried to keep my frustration hidden under a mask of calm that i despertley tried to gain. it didnt work. i felt a hand on my shoulder and i glanced sideways to see Ezra staring at me with a smoewhat tender expression. it was something i had never seen on his face before. "dont get so over excited Alice dear. you just need to remain calm alright?" he moved his hand up to my hair and stroked it lightly with his long fingers. i wondered why his attitude had changed all of a sudden. "i dont like seeing you look worried. it ruins your pretty face." he removed his hand from my hair and i noticed he was actually blushing. "i-i dont know where to move the clan. something is telling me....underground." he smiled as i said the words. i could see the wheels turning in his head as he embraced me. "thats a good idea." there was a warmth in his eyes that was unsual, for him at least. he bent down and pressed his lips to mine lightly. i moaned, melting into the sweet kiss. it was unlike so many other of our kisses. it made me want to retreat back into the cave, just the two of us. i wanted to feel him and this time i felt maybe i could feel his love to. he kissed me back and held me tight against him. "um...i-i-im sorry to inturpt but...were already to began moving the clan." the voice came fro behind us. it was darius just another one of the wolves. slwolwly i pulled away from Ezra to look at Daruis. "fine well be right there but dont tell a soul sbout what youve seen." the rest of the clan didnt know about me and ezra and i wasnt sure if it was the kind of thing they would be compfortable with.

Re: Full Moon 1.114 Years Ago Zenith pulled the Porsche into the back of the store. Elijah greeted them in the back of the store with a smile. “Welcome back,” he replied, eyeing Zenith. “There aren’t any windows back here, y’know?” Zenith rolled his eyes, letting himself shift back to his real form. He stepped out of the car, eyeing him. He knew why his father asked him to be a fox right now; Elijah loved honesty. When he talked to you he wanted to see your real face; not an illusion. “So how’s it been?” Zenith asked. “Sorry I haven’t been home in a while. Life doesn’t exactly wait for you.” Elijah nodded. “It’s been hard.” He paused, thinking. “I haven’t seen her for over seven months.” Zenith thought for a moment. “That’s not like her,” he replied. “Mikazuki is very punctual . . . could it be she got caught up in her duties?” Elijah sighed. “I hope so,” he stated. Zenith shot him a look. “Kitsune don’t cheat. We are loyal to the very end.” Elijah laughed at that. “Yeah; you’re right. But I can’t help but worry about her . . .”
Zenith followed Elijah inside. “I just don’t understand what could be keeping her?” He asked, looking around. Zenith just shrugged. “I wouldn’t know. As Kitsune nine-tail she possesses nearly unlimited power. There are few things that could oppose Mikazuki.” Elijah rolled his eyes. “Ever consider just calling her Mother?” He asked. Zenith rolled his eyes in response. “Mikazuki, Kitsune,” DJ stated. “Uh, I’m a little lost over here.” Zenith just ignored him and thought hard. Suddenly it hit him. “There was a pair in the world of Akkrat who were able to undo the power of the Moon . . .” Elijah shot him a glance. “And the Gate there was destroyed,” Zenith added. Elijah stepped into action. “Can you take me there?” He asked. “Yes but-” “Good,” Elijah replied. “DJ, get my shotgun.” DJ nodded, and ran off towards the store part of the building. “You can’t just walk into Akkrat and start shooting,” Zenith replied. “It’s a young world. No gunpowder.” Elijah removed a large, silver long-sword off the wall. “That’s why I have this,” he replied. “And my combat knife.” Zenith rolled his eyes. “Here you go!” DJ returned with an M47. “That’s a big gun,” Zenith replied. Elijah nodded. “Let me get my bat,” DJ added. “Bat?” Zenith asked. “Why?” “Cause I’m going with you!” He cried as he grabbed the light, solid metal bat from the front of the store. “When we leaving?” Zenith sighed. “I can only do it under the moon,” he replied. “It’ll be tonight.”
Elijah returned out from somewhere with a belt and holster, pulling out a Cougar Magnum .44 caliber revolver. It had a pearl grip, and was mainly silver. He smiled, handing it to Zenith. “No,” he replied. “I can’t.” Elijah gave him the parent look. “I won’t have my son runnin’ into danger without a gun. Even if he is some magic fox-boy.” Zenith rolled his eyes, putting the belt around his waste, the holster opposite to his blade. “Why do I get the feeling I don’t have a say in the matter?”

Re: Full Moon 1.114 Years AgoI lay with Ezra underneath a cluster of tall trees, the night sky barley peeking from between its wiry branches. I was greatful for the warmth of Ezras embrace as his arm snaked around me sheilding me from the cold of the night. THe clan had stopped to rest and maybe get a bit of sleep before countiuing the move. THe wolfkin lay around us in small paks. Most were asleep, there mouths open and drooling. "we made it quite far in just a day,My preistess." he whispered in my ear, his voice low and seductive. i smiled and toyed with the buttons of his shirt, playfully. "yes by tomorrow we should have the clan underneath Akrat." i sighed and stared in his yellow eyes. He brushed back a strand of my hair so tha he could see my face clearly. all of a sudden his expression changed. "i feel uneasy" he whispered, moving closer so that our faces were touching. "be very still and dont move."

Re: Full Moon 1.114 Years Ago Zenith stole a look out of the store. The lights were out; making Zenith smile. He couldn’t shift worlds in his human form, so he had to make sure he wasn’t seen. “I’ve got all the food packed,” Elijah stated. “Along with plenty of ammo.” Zenith just shrugged. Same old Dad, he thought. “So how much food do we need?” DJ asked. “Enough for a full cycle of the moon,” Zenith replied. “We will be unable to return until the moon is full.” Elijah smiled. “It’s not that bad,” he added. “I went to a crystal palace for my honeymoon with Mikazuki for a month. Best damn month of my life, too.” Zenith smiled. His father knew how to love if nothing else. He stole outside, making sure the pistol at his side didn’t shift nor chaff. It was a long time since he last used a firearm. Only two worlds had such weapons: Earth being one and Vilaste being the other. “Let’s go,” he whispered. The trio stole out of the store and across the road, quickly vanishing into the trees on the other side. “I’ll go first,” Elijah stated. Zenith nodded; he’d need to go last to hold the portal open anyways. They rused deep into the park, getting to a small, secluded meadow inside. “We ready?” his father asked. “Ready for what?” DJ asked. Elijah just put his finger over his Mouth as Zenith concentrated.
A pillar of light shone from the moon overhead; finding its way through a small gap in the clouds. The pillar grew brighter, stronger . . . “By the power of the moon I call forth the light between worlds,” Zenith began. “Through the darkness shines a light, and through this light our worlds are bound . . . take my body; search my soul. Lift me into the heavens, and let me tread the paths through the darkness. For in the moonlight, we all are bound.” Elijah smiled as Zenith opened his eyes. “I don’t know if I am strong enough to send all of us through.” Elijah fumbled with his M-47 held loosely in his hands. Taking a deep breath, he stepped into the pillar, fading in the light. “Holy s**t!” DJ remarked as Elijah vanished. Zenith felt him travel through, making him wince. “You’re next,” he moaned, nodding to DJ. DJ licked his lips and shifted on his feet, thinking. “Here goes nothin’,” he stated. The teenager stepped through the portal, fading from the world of the real. Zenith felt his abilities begin to strain; his body beginning to grow very weary, very fast. Here goes . . . Zenith charged into the light, feeling himself being pulled into the paths between worlds. |

Re: Full Moon 1.114 Years AgoMy stomach lurched making me feel sick. i felt uneasy to. "someones opening a portal." i whispered an barried my head in his chest hopeing that whoever they were it had nothing to to with us. "im sorry Alice dear but we must take precautions." He smoothed back his hair and slipped of his shirt.his tattoos begining to glow. i knew that i was expected to do the same. I shed my dress throwing it onto th slightly wet grass. my bare body glowed with the power that was running through my veins. Ezra seized me roughly, his Yellow Eyes rolling around in his head widley. As our powe meshed together i could feel my self drowning in it. it took all my will jsut to hold on and not be dragged under. "Two halfs of a soul reunite and make us whole" chanted Ezra, ofically fusing our powers together. our souls.

Re: Full Moon 1.114 Years Ago Zenith stepped out of the portal, a splitting headache making him dizzy. “Zachary!” Elijah exclaimed. “You okay?” Zenith shook his head. “S-s-something doesn’t feel riiiight . . .” he droned. “Yo okay man?” DJ asked. “Ah s**t!” Elijah replied, grabbing Zenith by the shoulders. “Stay with me!” He stated. “C’mon; don’t go on me now.” Zenith felt his tails go limp and his eyes roll into the back of his head. He had stretched his powers to their limits and beyond, and now he had to pay the price. He collapsed, falling limp in Elijah’s arms. The world went dark, and he knew no more.

Re: Full Moon 1.114 Years Agoi woke with a start and a cold sweat. my breath was coming in ragged gasps. clutching my chest, i tried to calm my madly racing heart. someone or someones had joined/merged their powers. we had traveled all day and i had just fallen asleep when the merging of two souls pulled me from the abyss of sleep.
"what's wrong?" Liam sat next to me as he had been from the beginning of this journey. "i...i dont...really know" my breathing had returned to some what normal but then he placed a hand on my cheek and sent my heart racing all over again. his face was so close to mine, his eyes an endless blue that mesmerized me. before i realized what was going on his lips were on mine and a warmth shot through me. |

Back to Akkrat14 Years Ago Zenith shook his head; getting up from the ground. Eeeh, he thought. What happened? He asked himself. He felt like he’d been kicked by a horse. No, horses don’t hit that hard, Zenith reminded himself. It’s almost as bad as being hit by the damn Porsche. He shook his head, thinking. “Zenith!” He was hugged hard by an over-enthusiastic DJ, which made him shudder. “Thank God you’re alright.” Zenith’s ear twitched as DJ continued to hug him. This is starting to get uncomfortable . . . DJ let him go with a smile. “Nice to see you too,” Zenith replied, scratching the back of his head. It still felt like a grenade had blown up inside his brain but he was alive . . . for now. “Welcome back, Zachary,” Elijah greeted. “Good to see you in one piece.” Zenith laid his ears back, looking up at his father humbly. “Hi dad,” he replied. Elijah just smiled; throwing the M-47 over his shoulder and extending out his other hand. Zenith accepted it, and Elijah proceeded to lift him up. “So where are we?” DJ asked, looking around. The moon shone brightly overhead, bathing the ashen earth in spectral light. The burned-out remains of buildings could be seen around the area, combined with small piles of bones and scattered filth. Zenith couldn’t help but sigh. “This was the village of Lumne,” he stated. “We are standing in the town square, where the Gate once stood.” Elijah snorted at the thought. “You weren’t kidding when you said it was bad.” Zenith nodded. “Some of the souls of the dead still wander this place; a side effect of the demonic magic used to tear the Gate asunder. I put to rest most of them but . . . some have been burned to deeply by the horror stained here.” DJ held up his bat loosely, looking around from building to building. “We should move; to rest in a town such as this is to invite danger.”
