Shadows Of Ourselves Forum How to catch a reader's attent..

Hey writerski, your post didn't make it or the site is acting up again.  The number one way that I know how to catch a reader's attention is by setting a scene that will catch leave them asking questions, wanting more... I just switched chapter two to chapter one on one of my books so that it would hopefully do just that.  The hard part is giving enough to draw them in without giving too much away too quickly.

I think I did good job in End-Black (and other writing I have removed to be posted again someday). However, I'm not so sure with The Chimera Project . . . Thanks for the advice. If anybody else has something that can help me out, post it here. Thanks!
