Or 3.9999999 if you do the math right...

A funny site. People hand out five stars like nickel candy. I sense I won't get the same treatment with this group, though ...

All right, Cameron, explain to me about 3.99999999. Is it a sum of the parts kind of deal? Mathematical taxes?

well to a calculater 1.99999999999 ad nasuem is the same as 2. So if we add 1.999999 ad nausem to it's like it's only 3.99999999 but to a calculator it's 4... so 4 = 3.99999999 ad nauseum.

Thanks for the support. I'm campaigning to have all math removed...

Cam,

There's a reason you're a writer and not a math geek, isn't there?

Because I can't do trig? Is my logic wrong?

YES! Because as every math geek knows, no matter what the calculater thinks the number is closest to... oh nevermind.

For some reason my slide rule gave me 3,000,000. I suppose I should update it.

A fantastic quote. I believe you can download Slide Rule 3.1, now, which should fix most bugs.

They have 3.1? Whoa. Maybe I can then replace my abacus at the same time.
