[no subject]17 Years AgoA funny site. People hand out five stars like nickel candy. I sense I won't get the same treatment with this group, though ...
All right, Cameron, explain to me about 3.99999999. Is it a sum of the parts kind of deal? Mathematical taxes? |

[no subject]17 Years Agowell to a calculater 1.99999999999 ad nasuem is the same as 2. So if we add 1.999999 ad nausem to it's like it's only 3.99999999 but to a calculator it's 4... so 4 = 3.99999999 ad nauseum.

There's a reason you're a writer and not a math geek, isn't there? -cc ::tongue:: |

[no subject]17 Years AgoYES! Because as every math geek knows, no matter what the calculater thinks the number is closest to... oh nevermind.

[no subject]17 Years AgoFor some reason my slide rule gave me 3,000,000. I suppose I should update it.

[no subject]17 Years AgoA fantastic quote. I believe you can download Slide Rule 3.1, now, which should fix most bugs.

[no subject]17 Years AgoThey have 3.1? Whoa. Maybe I can then replace my abacus at the same time.
