The various forms of art, can of course be linked with different philosophical concepts or techniques. For example, there is the "minimimalist" work of Dan Flavin. By the way, some people refer to the minimalists as "constructionists". In this thread, feel free to share your thoughts, regarding the connections between philosphy and art. Well, one of the positive features of good art, is that it can be thought-provoking. It can challenge our conventional ways of thinking, and inspire us to be more creative. Also, we can learn a lot about the past from historic works of art. Do my fellow Group members agree about this, I wonder?
