Up Close Forum Worst Review-- Ever.

What is the worst review you've ever had?  (Be honest.  We aren't all perfect.)

The worst ones go, 'Wow, I really liked that.'

 

It's the literary equivalent of a fake orgasm.  It makes you wonder if they even read it.

Here's another one:

"OMG!!!! I LOVE IT!!!!"

These kinds of reviews happen to me on other writing sites. To me, it's annoying and it obviously doesn't help me to improve my pieces.

On another blog someone (a former friend who thought the story was an intentional shank to his kidney) told me, "All I'll say about this story is I printed it out, took it to the bathroom, and wiped my a*s with it. Nuff said."  That's his response verbatim.

When I dissociate myself from his response in relation to the story's content and our actual relationship at the time, when I conveniently forget that the main character was actually based on him, and when I just read his review of the story I laugh. So, I guess it wasn't that bad of a review.
