The Vladimir Nabokov Writing Society is devoted to exploring the shades of words, hazel W's and bloods R's, poking fun at plots with puns and real prose, the metaphysics of consciousness. Fresh words with real thought, not imitation prose slobbered on by modern mediocrity. Read with dictionaries; write with a leather volume of synonyms and several books on etymology. One does not read, one only rereads.

Play with prose to make sentences purr, or submissions essays regarding Nabokov�s work are equally welcome.
