"... get the spatula!"   to me, this scene was the one that did me in. My BF and I were driving, and I was reading the book out loud to him to pass the time. We got to that part of the book, where the father starts doing "excrement divinations", and just plain lost it. We had to pull over, tears were streaming so badly. Too outrageous to be made up, it was kind of that point that made me realize there are no secrets so horrible they cannot be shared. Just loved it!
