About Me

24 year old chick currently working as a technical writer. Graduated from the University of Buffalo in 2004 with a degree in English. Wants to write but is too afraid of feelings. Prefers weird/humorous stuff over dramatic. Thinks Peter Cetera's "The Glory of Love" is a perfect song. LOVES feedback/reviews so please leave some!

Heh. Thanks! I wrote that on the subway, many moons ago, when I worked in Manhattan. Funny how, ten years later and in a different city, it still rings true. :(

No, I haven't written a poem since that (in November), Hanan.
I decided, that drunken night, that poetry is not for me. I enjoy writing it, but I much prefer prose - it's my forte. And it's where the money is (hopefully, the novel's in the post).

Thanks for reviewing 'My First Poetry recital', Hanan.
That was the day I decided I didn't want to be a poet any more, and I haven't written a poem since (although I still drink the occasional glass of Smirnoff, if the bottle is from a good year).

Good call on leaving WNY. Waaay too cold for me, and I'm not just talking about the weather! Cali is a good place to be, depending on the 'where'. I would have stayed in San Diego if it weren't so darn expensive.

Heh. I left WNY at eighteen, never to look back. Started with college in Ohio, moved to NYC for a year for a job opportunity and then moved down through the east coast and up the west coast before settling waaay over in the Portland area (pssst--this place rocks--don't tell too many people!).
