No, I did not leave Writers Cafe. I just was absent for a while. I finally posted some of my stuff. Check it out. Be kind. And its a "good" not married, I suppose although being single kinda sucks sometimes.

Bluntly put, a shaggy dog story is a long, involved tale that leads the listener or reader to believe that something monumental is going to happen at the end. Instead the ending is either totally irrelevant to the previous events or a letdown. Or both.

Glad my review of THE SEVENTH SEAL served it's purpose. And I'm equally glad that you liked it. If I hadn't been at my brother-in-law's house watching INSIDE MAN I probably would have been home myself watching it.
