I love reading poetry. My favorite poet is Rainer Maria Rilke, I also love Wallace Stevens, Theodore Roethke, T.S. Eliot, Auden, Bukowski, Whitman, and on and on...oh yea, also Mary Oliver
I am just now trying to find my own voice, I still need a thesaurus, and lots of notes from what I read; not just poems, but spiritual/metaphysical stuff as well.
I have several themes presently....the past, hope, the imagination, dreams, fear, and my higher power, which goes unnamed, but I call God.
Just a beginner, but I have fun with it.
