Inspiring/depressing? I suppose that's fair to say, probably because the Bronx is one of the few places in the world that mirrors life. It's also one of only two places to live that you need to preface with "the" when referring to it. The other one is THE Vatican. Pretty impressive company, don't you think? :-)
