About Me

It's a total cliché, but I was raised a small town girl. My high school has 84 kids, and that was counting from 7th grade up. Being a small town girl, I'm only really good at 2 things. Being clumsy, and having panic attacks in crowds larger than a hundred people. My mom is a writer, and she encouraged me and my little brother when we showed an interest in writing. I was about 4 at the time, but I fell in love with it, even when I didn't know my A's from my Z's. It was natural for me by the time I reached high school and I used to laugh at the people who thought I was funny for always carrying around a notebook like a security blanket. They don't understand the joys or the pains that come with writing; of it being a lifelong journey. Even when I'm old and arthritis fills my hands, I know I'll still write. Just how I picture my life; telling stories, even if no one is there to listen.
