Nicole Clarice Anna Wiest

I am 24 years old, living in SK, Canada. I have been writing poetry ever since I could hold a pen. I absolutely love writing and use it as a way to get my feelings out; a sort of therapy. I have been through a lot in my 24 years. I am a recovering drug addict and had a baby when I was 16. I have since turned my life around. I strive to help people and to just make a difference in this world. If my story can help just one person, then my entire life was worth while. I am a feminist, but not a radical. I believe in equality amongst races and sexes. I believe that racism and sexism are intertwined and until we understand different cultures, we cannot all be equal. I am an environmentalist - and yes, the turn off the lights and hug every tree kind. I am also a registered nurse. I love what I do and wouldn't change it for the world. SO that's me in a nut shell.
