About Me

I am a divorced mom of 2 grown boys. I enjoy creating on all levels. I do scrapbooking, card making, make jewelry, candles, soap, crochet, cross stitch, plastic canvas, work with polymer clay to name a few.

As a child, I never received anything less then an "A" in my English courses from elementary school through college. I took courses in high school like Creative Writing and Literature classes as my English electives. I wrote short stories and poetry. I have had a couple poems published and even a band took song lyrics I wrote and put it to music.

I ended up getting married right out of high school for all of the wrong reasons. This was a bad situation which I stayed for 17 years until I finally got out with the help of my parents. This was in July 2004. I lost my ambition and desire to write. I lost ambition for just about everything. Once I was on my own, I began to find myself again.

In the past few months, I have been toying with the idea of writing again, but writing a novel instead of short stories. My boyfriend had a dream and I thought it would make a good novel. When he had the dream, I wrote it down. I just didn't know where to begin writing my book. I researched the publishing process and writing process for several months before writing a word. I finally put together a mini outline (not complete yet) but I started writing my first couple chapters. This is where I am now.... in the beginning of July 2010.

My web site is about paper crafts.

Word spread across the countryside about the wise Holy Man who lived in a small house atop the mountain. A man from the village decided to make the long and difficult journey to visit him. When he arrived at the house, he saw an old servant inside who greeted him at the door. "I would like to see the wise Holy Man," he said to the servant. The servant smiled and led him inside. As they walked through the house, the man from the village looked eagerly around the house, anticipating his encounter with the Holy Man. Before he knew it, he had been led to the back door and escorted outside. He stopped and turned to the servant, "But I want to see the Holy Man!"

"You already have," said the old man. "Everyone you may meet in life, even if they appear plain and insignificant... see each of them as a wise Holy Man. If you do this, then whatever problem you brought here today will be solved."
