i've been writing since i was a baby when i first wrote 'mama' on the floor of my mothers kitchen with my own infant vomit. that didn't actually happen but i have been trying to write for decades. in the last few years i've been taking it more seriously and managed to finish the first draft of my first novel last week. 2nd june 2007. i'm about 15,000 words into the second novel as of this writing. i'm waiting for my advance readers to get back to me with their thoughts before i complete the final draft. i decided to join a few writers groups to interact with and learn from my peers. i'm sure that we all share the same stories of soaring highs and debilitating lows.
