Richard Abanes

I have worked for about 15 years in the area of popular culture and religion as a nationally recognized authority on such issues. As an author and journalist, I have received The Myers Center Award for the Study of Human Rights in North America for my �outstanding work on intolerance in North America� (1997), and also the Evangelical Press Association�s �Higher Goals in Christian Journalism Award� (1997). Among my many non-fiction books are What Every Parent Needs to Know About Video Games and my bestselling The Truth Behind the DaVinci Code. I newest volume is my first novel, Homeland Insecurity, which I co-authored with my wife of 22 years, Evangeline.
