Thanks for the review. To answer your question, unfortunately as we grow older we have to discard more and more of our childhood dreams. At first it is just the ones about beating up Godzilla and having a pet monkey, but as we age more we slowly toss off more and more until we are only left with our practical and mundane dreams.

Thanks for the review. I've been out for a bit, I posted why in the forums if you come across it. I love the effect being in Texas and being a Texan seems to have on writing and your review was really helpful. I'll be able to revise some of that soon and hopefully read more of your stuff as soon as I can!
