About Me

Poems frequently relay my joy and amazement for life as well as the terrifying anxiety that comes with the sublime nature of 'being'. I am self-absorption. I have no excuses!...okay okay, originally from Queens, NYC, living in Austin TX now for the last year and a half and intend to make 2007 the year I return to the land of my people, New York City...I like Northern Exposure, Frank O'Hara poetry, Leonard Cohen, hot tea, sentimentality, spraypaint,, Federico Garci Lorca, deep sleeps, pints of cider heads of guinness and darts in smoky bars but I'm trying to get healthy, one of these days it'll happen. i'm down with mortality but not suffering, I love spain and people who know me....ahhh, and unlying to myself!

i was just thinking how your un-lie to himself reminded me of that mark twain quote i always liked about having to un-learn everything he learned in school ... and there's this great line from one of ani difranco's songs that goes: for every lie i unlearn, i learn something new ... i'm all about un-lying and un-learning ... it just may be my new focus ... thanks!

My dear friend. We are more alike than you think. When the time comes for us to be judged, by either Deity, or mankind, it will not be based on the orientation of our faith, but how benevolent we have been to those who needed us. I can see that you are someone with a good heart. That is all that will matter in the end.

I was in downtown Boise, Idaho, and I saw a duck. And I knew the duck was lost, 'cause ducks ain't supposed to be downtown; there's nothing for 'em there
