Being from Michigan doesn't provide for a lot of inspiration but i have a bunch of interests and i like the idea of my characters being able to fulfill them, given i don’t have the time or energy to start a new career every time i have a whim/fantasy, so my charactors can do it for me. I am just starting out as writer in training and as frustrating as it can be i feel such a sence of accomplishment when i can finnish a paragraph and not hate it (so far its happend once)
