Ashley hails from the frozen tundra of Fargo, ND, which much like the movie, albeit not actually filmed there, boasts cold climates, gratuitious amounts of ice and snow, and horrible accents. She now resides in the significantly more pleasant Colorado, nestled in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. Ashley has always been fascinated with the English language and has loved writing since she was a wee little girl. In her post-secondary career, she tackled news writing, persuasive writing, and non-fiction writing, but has come to find her niche in poetry and fictional prose. Ashley is easily amused, loves rain, and has proven that she will write anywhere; on paper, on napkins, bathroom stalls, your bedroom walls, on your skin-- wherever she can find a veritable canvas. She also hates applesauce with an intense passion.
