I'll be sure to check out your work and offer some feedback (to be taken with a gigantic grain of salt, of course) when I have the chance, Hali. Your purple "phobia" sounds like an interesting subject for a story or poem, potentially far more intriguing than the standard fare of "my baby done me wrong" or "I love that man so much" poetic verse. Have you addressed it in prose yet?

Afraid of the color purple? How fascinating. Does that me you also fear Alice Walker and Prince? Not the mention Harold and his crayon of a certain ominous color. :-)
