About Me

I love to write. I used to write when I was younger and have strayed. I keep trying to get back into it and sacrifice the time to other hobbies. Perhaps I should start with a time management class and work my way back to a creative writing course. Do you think that will get me back on track? Or will it be just another distraction?

Oh, thanks for the review of A Hanging, hon, much appreciated. This is a recurring dream I've had for a while now...

If I didn't know better, I'd almost suspect that this was me in a former life, lol

LOL, yeah, I group up on the beach, about 40 minutes from the Island.

Yeah, and my dad's family, there were five siblings, and all started with K, Kyle, Ken, Kerry, Kellye, and Kristi...

and the boys were best friends with a group of brothers named Gary, Jerry, and Larry...

always think name-play among siblings is interesting in a dorky kind of way ;P

Hello, Miss Medina Jo... I will admit your name piqued my interest... go figure. And then I saw we were from similar places, so I thought I should pop in and say hey.

Hi Medina Jo. I see my friend Roy has beat me to the bunch with his words of wisdom. Yeah! When the writing spirit hit you, resistence to penning your thoughts will be useless. If your gift of writing is really a true gift from your Higher Power... well you know.

I have found that time management does very little to alter the true CREATIVE person. So, W E L C O M E to the Cafe. We're glad you found us! --Debra

Hi Medina Jo. In response to your bio, I've found that writing is basically a calling that has a mind of its own. If words demand that you put them down on paper, they'll let you know and you'll basically be helpless to resist. You might find a time management class useful to get a handle on responsibilities for school / work / personal life. And depending on who is running it and who your fellow classmates are, a creativing writing course can be a great boost. But you can also do neither and simply let your heart dictate what it is that you desire. If you see writing as just a hobby, it won't matter all that much when you get around to it. If you see it as an essential aspect of your being, of course you'll get around to it. You won't have much choice. Welcome to the Cafe. Sorry for being so long winded. :-)
