After 26 years as a full-time professional librarian, I went freelance in 2002 as a proofreader, editor and indexer. I specialise in correcting and improving the English of people for whom English is a second language, and "ghosting" for people who are worried that their command of English is not up to scratch. I also write creatively when time allows - I'll turn my hand to most things if pushed!
