What is it Like...to Dream a Different Dream?

 

When you dream,

What is it that you dream?

 

Do you dream that you are falling?

From the sky?

And then do you scare yourself awake?

But what happens...

Just maybe once...

If you don't wake...

And fall through the darkness?

Is there another side to the black?

Or do you just keep falling?

Would it be the same as entering

A house...

Built as if it were a maze?

Where one door leads

To another door closed?

Would you keep on walking

'Til you find the window?

It could be just as we do in our life...

We run,

We get lost,

And we do whatever it takes...

To make it out with a mere lie...
