Falcon.

Falcon.

A Poem by -Insertnamehere-
"

I was inspired by the falcon I saw land on my tree in my backyard while I was eating dinner. However the falcon and the little bird are metaphors.

"
Hello there little bird
How sweet your singing entrances me
Deep beneath this moonlit tree while I eat my noodles silently
I even rhyme for you
You inspire me
Hello there little bird
How sad it may be
If a falcon were to swoop by and snatch you from your perch
You wouldn't even see it coming
Its mighty talons, its mighty beak
Waiting just for the right moment when you let your little guard down
As you sit to rest beneath your wings
Here he comes!
Fly away!
Quick!
His mighty wings spread from ocean to ocean
His beady eyes set focused on his prey
You little bird
You are his prey
He will not show mercy
With its mighty call, its mighty aim
And bam!
He snatches you
Calmly with one swift motion
And you are caught beneath him, unable to free yourself
You cry and you cry but no one can save you
You have been captured by the mighty hunter
The falcon
And he shall not let you go
Not until he gets every piece of you, inside and out
And he shall not let you go
not with his mighty talons, his mighty beak
His mighty call, his mighty aim
And he shall not hear you cry
Because he is a falcon
Remember?
