My Sorrow

A stab to my heart

A kick to my knees

Each blow hurting more than the last

Sanity lost

My legs pulled out from under me

There is nothing to hold onto

Nowhere to go

Lost in this game of life

That is all it is, a game

No path to follow

Fate not pointing the way

Treading down the darkest roads

Falling through the cracks

No one to save me

Abandoned to misery

All I am is a toy

One for them to bend and break

No longer in control of emotion

Wrapped in pain

Cloaked in anger

Trapped in a prison I unwillingly made

That is my sorrow.
