Marginal Lies

Marginal Lies

A Poem by Rafita
"

Lies and Truth

"
Marginal lines
And marginalies.
Are there no truths
To keep us?
My central lies
Your marginal truths.
Are their no lines
To keep us
From being
Frayed and hemmed?
Another fabric of our imagination,
We are a patchwork
Of malcontents for oblivion
Or something more.
Are we just multiple
Deceivers?
Or something more?
Are there no truths
To keep us?
I think there are.

From the works of Edison Morrow.

Gracias Rafita for your poem, well-quilled and well messaged!
Yes, our teachers taught us to stay within the lines, to keep within the margins,
so I say Gracias for your apt reminder that to be marginalized is to be as pale and gray,
and that to experience a pursuit of potential, whether culminating as smile or frown,
is to live! ... I look forward to more!
