Water World

Water World

A Poem by Olivia Danielle

I saw the world yesterday

A different way than today

Yesterday I stared at the world submerged in water

I floated like a dream

Passing the waves and ripples

Waiting to wake up

Everything around me was blurry

I could feel every part of me

But my mind was lost

I sat for a moment

In the water world

And let myself stop breathing for a moment

I sunk to the bottom and stayed there for a while

Today I woke up

And I saw the world differently

The water world had dried

The sun was out

Now I know not to panic

I know to swim through my water world

I sit and hope

That the next time

It’ll only be rain

i wish the same that when i wake up next morn, i see anew world with no past aches; no yesternight's wrongfulness &/or future's worries, perhaps.. when tomorrow comes, it comes w/ same old memories and aches of past that once we all passed throu'.. even some still keeps walking throu'... to survive another dawn in a hope of.. something good.

Why doesn't this have any reviews?? I loved the writing and story that it told. The last line added so much to it, too. It's such a nice read and I'm glad I read it!
