He Loves You

He Loves You

A Poem by Empty Spaces

He Always tucks his shirt in
And smiles when he looks at you
You told him " I trust you"
So he's writing this in hope that he'll remember
He just wants you to know
He really, really cares
He Loves You

Such a short yet beautiful write. Great job!

Wow! Interesting, the first line seems to express tenderness; he must be saying here, "I'm a gentleman."
Trust she gave you is as compelling as he holding it. In time, time will tell the story of your love; I hope it shall always remain and go to the next step and beyond, so that you don't lose it; so it doesn't fade. Isn't that where the trust comes from? The line: "So he's writing this in hope he'll remember..." is he saying he will forget her trust? Or his own in himself? Please do emphasize for the curious hearts. This is a sweet poem of tender secrets between two, shared when realized the trust comes to life!
I think she loves him too.
