Four Elements

Four Elements

A Poem by 8petallotus

The intensity of these dreams
are too much to see
and the processing of them causes me to bleed
through my eyes I do not see an ending to these planes
of existence
I have been here before
and I have seen the world between
the things seen
and contemplated

If only there were ways of being
that would allow the sands to stay
and the water to not trickle out of your hands
and we could breath the sweet smells of the sea
the plans made
laid down by the world of gray
and the people gone before
which claim they have a bond stronger than water
to our veins

The bleakness of this being
is hard to see
and fantom as you must
to understand the realism in trusting nature
no one will believe that the genuine can be a ravine
of serene peace that lives and breaths
please don't mark on me
the pains that you have come to be
and allow the love to flow freely
to be relieved from the pressure

If only there were ways of being
that would allow the winds to change
and blow away the pain
that we all feel inside each day
for not living our dreams and the life we seek
but rather to be
on an empty scene

Alas go poor soul and forget
reminiscing on the things that have yet
to be
and will never materialize
in this life or the next
Forgive me for being so syndical
but the life I lead
is far from the one you see
I live in the stars, and in the sea
The winds and the trees
that set fire to your soul
and burn down everything undesirable.
