Paper and Ink

Paper and Ink

A Poem by Megan
"

Words are my window

"
They  don't get to know me
Too pushy and needy
Too desperate and clingy
Something just to take up space

The more I try to relate
The more of a fool of myself I make
With nothing else to say
But I'm sorry

All my thoughts stay in my head
With no words to express them
They all remain unsaid
Escaping only through my pen

Here I am more myself
Then anywhere else
Paper and ink is the only escape
Here my soul is fully expressed

This is a good poem and i think anyone who writes can relate to this. Which is a lot of people, I hope. ;) It is short and to the point. I have written a few pieces like this and now i am curious as to how many more like this are floating around. I could not find any technical errors, so with that, well done.

this is so true to me as well and i presume at some point, any writer had experienced this that only through "paper and ink" can the matrix of letters forming words spinning spiral intertwined in the confines of their mind be expressed and let out. im happy to relate to this.
