Puppeteer;

Puppeteer;

A Poem by C.

I could run forever
But I'd never escape you
I could scream so the whole world could hear
But you'd still be my puppeteer

And it's haunting me,
But I feel fine
All I have to do
Is get you off my mind

Months have gone by
And you still consume my brain
Oh, I think I've gone insane
From all you've done, from all this pain

There's a million places I'd rather be
A million things I'd do to get away
But here I lie, in the dark
Your arms around my fragile heart

And it's haunting me,
But I feel fine
All I have to do
Is get you off my mind

You have twisted the idea of heartbreak(?) into such a dark theme, I love it.
It's hard to get away from those feelings, like the more you try the more the consume you.
