Black;

Black;

A Poem by C.

There's so many things that remind me of you
They used to be happy things, but now they're kind of blue
You used to be the sun
But now you're just the night sky - black
You're not even the pretty night sky filled with
Stars & the dreams of an insomniac
You're the night sky over a city of a million lights
But you were always this way, I never knew
'Cause I just focused on the moon - the good parts of you
And I'm still living in the night, and lately I can't see the moon
But I don't wonder where it went, like I used to do
I just hope the sun will rise tomorrow
And I'll forget your face
And your stinging embrace
And the way you said 'I love you' like you'd rather runaway

Honest and sad story told in the poetry.
"I just hope the sun will rise tomorrow
And I'll forget your face
And your stinging embrace
And the way you said 'I love you' like you'd rather runaway"
Escaping love leave us wanting. The above lines were true-ful and honest. Thank you C for sharing the excellent poetry.
