Whisper;

Whisper;

A Poem by C.

you whisper in the dark

whisper into my ear

spewing lies, left and right

you move your lips to my neck

and i sigh

for more reasons than one

i should’ve stopped this before it begun

but your eyes captured me in a pool of blue

and you growled that this was okay

that i was okay

and now i want to stay

because i’ve never felt more beautiful

than when your hands were in my hair

and my knees around your waist

but you better put your foot in your mouth

cause you’re spewing lies, left and right

you said i was a pretty sight

but you only say it in the cover of midnight

we’ve done some things that we can’t speak

and i don’t know what to say

when we next meet

but maybe you won’t care anyway

though you’ll act like you do

spewing lies, left and right

i want to wash you away

but you just won’t leave

i just want to breath

but you won’t let me

you keep on haunting me

I enjoyed the poem. The twisted game of need and want.
"because i’ve never felt more beautiful
than when your hands were in my hair
and my knees around your waist"
The above lines are true. When the heat of passion is in command. We are done and captured. Thank you C for sharing the excellent poetry.
