Crave;

Crave;

A Poem by C.

i'm a wave
that gets lost in your sea
or so you think
i'm dust
that blows away in your wind
you think you got me pinned
i'm mud
dirty underneath your feet
but the truth is bittersweet
i'm the flame
that burns in your eyes
but that's a disguise
i'm glass
that you think you can break
but you made a mistake
i'm the steel
that weighs down your wrists
when you realize what you miss
i'm coal
that stains your heart black
cause you know you'll never have me back
i'm a whisper
you can't get out of your head
or the memories of me in your bed
i'm the midnight moon
pushing the sea around in waves
'cause you know it's only me you crave

I did like this poem.
"i'm the midnight moon
pushing the sea around in waves
'cause you know it's only me you crave"
The above lines are true. Something so sweet and so good. We want to repeat the dance. Thank you C for sharing the amazing poetry.
