Crimson Clover

Crimson Clover

A Poem by C.

Maybe just a little time

Is all that I really need

But a minutes worth a dime

So all I need’s some change, I plead

And I don’t know how to feel anymore

My thoughts are way to jumbled

‘cause it’s you I still adore

Even though my hearts crumbled

All that I can think about

is how to shut it all out

That little voice inside my head

whispers; lay down and go to bed

Rest is restless

so impossible it seems

because all that awaits there

is you haunting my dreams

but life is the same

there really is no escape

and only I’m to blame

for all my stupid mistakes

and no, I’m not good enough

and I never will be

but, I guess that’s just tough

In time, I know you’ll see

Do the winds whisper

To tell me it’s over

well, the only way to tell

is by the crimson clover

This was a very...deep poem. Deep and depressing in way. There's a certain meaning I can just barely understand in each stanza, although I do feel for you.
