Fall

Fall

A Poem by C.

You told me you’d always be there

But every time I call

You hang up the phone

And every time I fall

So where are you now?

Where’s my knight in shining armor

You broke me

Destroyed me

And now I’m left with nothing

To hold me together

You used me

Completely

Taking over my brain

Yeah, you convinced me

That you’d always be there

But you don’t give a care

I’m laying here wishing

you we’re holding me

wishing that I could be

everything you want me to be

but I’m useless broken

not worth a token

and my hearts awoken now

so where are you now?

Where’s my knight in shining armor

You broke me

Destroyed me

And now I’m left with nothing

To hold me together

You used me

Completely

Taking over my brain

Yeah, you convinced me

That you’d always be there

But you don’t give a care

And now time is flying by

But I’m stuck here

And you’ve got her now

She’s better than me, better than I’ll ever be

I could never break these walls down

And it feels like there just closing in farther

You hang up the phone

And every time I fall.

So where are you now?

Where’s my knight in shining armor?

yes, the refrain...."So where are you now?
Where’s my knight in shining armor?"
it sounds very musical and sad.

This could be a good song! If you have a good voice you should record yourself singing it and then post it
