Praise Be Unto GOD

He is a God merciful, slow to anger, and gracious

Abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness

The Lord is with you, the Mighty One, who saves;

When He comes to mind, a smile is seen on your face.

Put on the full armor of your most kind and loving Father

That you can stand against satan’s schemes and not waver

God is your hiding place, and He will protect you from distress

Surrounding you with songs of joy and deliverance.

No weapon forged against the Most High will prevail

Whoever attempts to bring you down never fails to fail

Every single word of the Lord is without a single flaw

The most hardened of hearts He can soften and thaw.

The King of all kings provides His saving help as a shield

To His holy will, all of His faithful children yield

The Creator broadens the path under His true servants’ feet

So that their ankles would not give way to evil fiends.

Praise be unto the Lord, the one and only true God

Who deserves praise, worship, and unconditional love

For as long as we have life, may we serve Him wholeheartedly

And come Christ’s return, forever with God we will be.
